Khan & Kootbodien Inc. is a wholly owned BBBEE boutique law firm situated in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town which prides itself on ethical practice of the highest degree and professionalism coupled with the requisite knowledge and expertise.

We offer a wide range of legal services and our clients see us as a ‘one stop legal shop’. Our firm is founded on the long-forgotten values of trustworthiness and integrity which form the cornerstones of our practice.

We believe that knowing the law is merely one aspect in practice and does not necessarily translate into success. What is of significance, however, is how one applies that knowledge of the law in a strategic manner to acquire the best possible outcome for our clients. We can confidently say that we do not just do it, we do it well. Every client is important to us and that is what drives us to go above and beyond in all our matters.

Historical Inception

The birth of Khan & Kootbodien Inc. is a truly inspiring story which started many years ago when the founding directors met as school friends.

Their friendship strengthened as time passed and they soon realised that they shared a common interest in the legal field. It was during their schooling days that they had expressed their common interest in the law and shortly thereafter jointly pursued law as a field of study at university. During their tertiary studies they shared a vision of one day opening a legal practice together.

With the grace of the Almighty, today they have realised their goal.

The brief history as aforementioned illustrates that they had the necessary drive and determination over many years to realise their goal which most around them at the time thought was mere nonsensical talk or a ‘schoolboy’s dream’.
